New Democrat Majority Announces $1 Million Ad Campaign to Defend House Democrats in Final Election Push

October 27, 2026

Investment will support New Democrat Coalition Reps. Gonzalez, Moskowitz, Sykes, and Vasquez through Election Day

WASHINGTON, D.C. — With one week until Election Day, New Democrat Majority today announced a $1 million advertising campaign to help reelect four House Democrats in the New Democrat Coalition, including incumbents running in districts Republicans redrew to help preserve their majority. The new spending comes on top of $5.2 million NDM has already invested this cycle.

The campaign will invest $250,000 each to support Reps. Vicente Gonzalez in Texas’ 34th District, Jared Moskowitz in Florida’s 25th District, Emilia Sykes in Ohio’s 13th District, and Gabe Vasquez in New Mexico’s 2nd District. The ads will run through November 3 on digital and on cable in New Mexico.

The investment comes as Republicans face resistance in districts they redrew mid-decade to favor GOP candidates. Moskowitz and Gonzalez are running in districts that Donald Trump would have carried in 2024 by approximately nine and 10 percentage points, respectively. Yet both remain in competitive races, and recent reporting shows that the Congressional Leadership Fund canceled $6 million in planned advertising against Moskowitz.

“Republicans redrew congressional maps to rig the game as they protect Trump’s corruption and push an unpopular agenda in Congress,” said New Democrat Majority. “Our path to a House majority depends on holding seats they expected to flip. We’re putting $1 million behind these New Democrats to help finish the job.”

The campaign will also support Sykes against Republican Carey Coleman in Ohio and Vasquez against Republican Greg Cunningham in New Mexico. Watch the ads here:
